 Do you have a lower back injury?  Does you hip/SIJ hurt every other day?  Want to improve your sport performance?  Want to function optimally every day and  play with your kids or grand kids?  Check out this class!  This is a a playful movement class focused on igniting the deep stabilization muscles along the spine and within your core to support your back and help you move with ease and improve your core strength whether your goals are sport performance or daily function.

*NEW Mondays 430-6pm Mysore Yoga Workshop Series.  all levels

Jan 7 sample class PWYC (pay what you choose).  Series begins Jan 14-Feb 18th.  Make up class Feb 25th. Pre-registration required. Please email for drop in availability.  

Have your yoga practice individualized for you and practice at your own pace!  This class offers an opportunity for individual practice in a group setting with one to one assistance (verbal and hands on) from the teacher.  It is a beautiful way to learn at your own pace and ability while enjoying the energy of the group.

In addition, this class is an opportunity for current physio clients and students working with injuries, to practice their individualized yoga programs in with hands on assistance.  Ensure you are doing your exercises and yoga poses right, in the comfort of a small group setting.

Beginners welcomed.  :). This class is appropriate for all levels and requires no previous ashtanga experience.  Students may start at anytime as long as they are finishing by 6pm.  Practitioners familiar with the closing sequence may stay past 6pm to finish (teacher assistance only until 6pm).

*NEW Mondays 6-7pm Yoga for Mindfulness. all levels 

Begins Jan 7.  An all levels mindful movement yoga practise using posture, breath and meditation to bring the body and mind together.  PWYC

It is for all levels of Yoga capability, both new and experienced.   Explore asana (physical postures), pranayam (breathing techniques) and meditation to cultivate mindfulness and stress reduction  During the asana practice we will build awareness within the physical postures of alignment, modifications, strength and mobility.  No experience required.

Investment: 10 card pass or PWYC

Wednesdays 430-6pm. Led Ashtanga  (Some ashtanga experience recommended)

Begins Jan 9.  A great way to experience the breath and energy as students are led through the ashtanga sequence.

Students will be  guided using the posture names and  counted vinyasa (linking movement with breath) with alignment cues/assists.  Some yoga experience is recommended for this class.  Class will include postures from primary and second series, pranayama (breath work), meditation and an extra long savasana 🙂

Join myself (Sarah MacKeigan) and Terra Brockett (https://www.awakensoundtherapy.com)  for the second annual New Year’s Day Candlelight Yoga Practise.

Begin the New Year with taking care of you through mindful movement in a supportive community. We will begin with an all levels flow, followed by the Four Purification’s (http://om27.com/the-four-purifications-from-ashtanga-yoga-primer-by-baba-hari-dass/) and finishing with a guided meditation and Himalayan singing bowls.
